Horizon

The sun shone low in the west,
mingling over the tops of old trees,
and warping the color along its sides,
from blue into hues of pink and amber,
which set the evening sky ablaze with color,
and highlight the clouds with melancholy pastels,
which make one reflect upon the fading day.
